My name is Glenda Walker and I am the owner/operator of Happy Paws Pet Sitting serving most of Northeast Tarrant County. I established Happy Paws in November of 2004 and I am an active member of Pet Sitters International, Professional Pet Sitters of America, Humane Society of the United States and The Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce.
I have 2 dogs,a miniature dachshund and a miniature beagle and 1 cat .


The foremost policy of Happy Paws is to be available when the pets need me. I can be reached 7 days a week from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Not only do I take care of client's pets, sometimes I have been called to help them by bringing a key to get back into their homes after they were accidently locked out. I even provide a pet taxi by picking up pets from the groomer. My love for animals has led me to become certified in pet first aid through the American Red Cross.



I have three people working with me,my husband Bruce,my daughter Samantha, and my brother Marvin.



Bruce works with me fulltime now. We do sits together or seperate if the work load requires it. He also works with me on evening visits.











Samantha works with me on the western side of my service area. She is married with three children, all who have entered school and now she has time to work outside the home. She has a mastiff.









Marvin works with me on the eastern side of my service area. He works for me fulltime. He has a schnauzer mix and 1 cat.

I want everyone to know that this is a family business and you can be assured that you will get the personal attention that I have always given my clients and no strangers will ever be taking care of your 4 legged family members.

The biggest challenge in my business is educating the general public to the advantages of using a pet sitter, some people are not aware that my type of business even exists. Pet sitting offers them a choice instead of having to use a kennel, next door neighbor or a family member.
